We went up to Mueller Park and roasted Hot Dogs it was fun. AJ and his Family, Tyler and his Family, Marla and us it was great.

Cooper did an Itty bitty Ball this summer that does Soccer, T-ball, and B-Ball. He loved it. Aunt Jo came to his graduation. He did great in all of them

Joe and Sheila took us to a Real Game, the first one i have been to. I do have to say i was more interested in the people than the game, i love people watching. But it was fun.
Its hard to see but they both have burned faces and well white eyes. They went Ice Fishing and kinda forgot sunscreen. They had fun i think kinda froze.

I can't believe i have an 8 year old and being baptized. My sweet friend took these of Emma at the last minute. Of course she did great Thanks Rachel. But i must say Emma is beautiful, just saying. The baptism went great all of our friends and family were there. Dad did great he didn't fall putting her in the water it was wonderful. She wasn't scared and loved every minute of it.

So we were able to go down to Vegas and visit our friends. The kids loved it, they had so much fun. We went to the strip just one day for a couple of hours. All the other days we went to the park and a splash pad and just let the kids played. Thanks agian Wilcock Family.

George S Mason 1955-2011

George passed away on Tuesday Feb 15th 2011. Dad & Grandpa will be missed, with walks to the parks, Gummy life savers & bears, rocking kids to sleep. Just a few memories that Emma remembers about Grandpa George.

The kids had a good Christmas. My whole family went out of town so it was just us. We had some friends over and had a blast. Amy and Kyle came over christmas eve and enjoyed dinner with us they are pretty much family to us. Joe and Sheila of course had Christmas with us and helped the kids with their Gingerbread Train. It was messy but fun.

We were able to go to a Hockey game and take the kids with us. It was a blast of course we got Cotton Candy so that made just that much better. It was fun and Coop really like it didn't help that we were front row behind the glass.

We had a fun little time last week when me and the kids went up to Snowbird to go swimming. On our way up we hit a huge hail storm, got to the room with it raining like crazy. All of a sudden the sun came out and we had about an hour or so of warm sun. Then it went back to cold and yucky weather. So it was an experience, but we had fun.

My little Emma turned 7, she is growing up to fast. We had a little lady bug birthday party. My sister-in-law helped me make the cupcakes and decorate them like lady bugs. It turned out fun, my brother and his wife were even here to celebrate with us from out of town. Thanks again to all that helped.

Thank you to all those who helped and came to Coopers Birthday it was fun! I can't believe how fast they grow up. It was fun a slight heavy rain storm but the kids loved. All in all it turned out good and everyone had fun. As you can see he enjoyed his lighting McQueen cake just a little bit.

It is so fun when you get to spend some time with friends. Our friends from Vegas came up so we went to Maddox for lunch to catch up. The kids love to play and have so much fun i think Zac and Willey have more fun catching up then anyone. As you can see Coop found Chocolate and can't eat it without getting it all over. Santa Came

Santa came! It looks like they enjoyed what Santa brought. Cooper got a horse and emma got her baby doll. It was a nice relaxing morning. Later that night we had the whole family over for Tri Tip, Zac is a great at BBQ. It was nice to sit talk and let the kids play. Thanks Mason Family for all the love and support you give.

Here it is our Tree. Zac putting the lights on, which takes forever thanks again baby.So after the hours of him wrapping the lights on every branch it is the kids and i job to do the ornaments. Emma and Cooper get their own tree (fake one)and they get to decorate it any way they want. I love to have all the lights off but the Tree, it is so beautiful.

Saturday after Thanksgiving we drive down to springcity to cut our Christmas Tree down. It is a fun trip for the kids and we get to pick out our tree. Our Cousins live down there so it works out great. Cooper was quit found of the Chickens that Uncle Adam had.

Thankful season

Its sad that only one month of the year we get really good at saying what we are thankful for, I am probably one of the biggest who does this. I need to be greatful every day for the whole year, I am; I just don't express it all the time. Times are tough but when I really look at it I am thankful and greatful for what I have, so I am going to try and write something at least once a week if not more.

I am very greatful for my family, the joy they bring me and the times that they make me laugh. I have 2 beautiful children and a wonderful husband. They are they reason we are here on this earth and it is so worth it.

New dress

So Emma just had to wear her new Christmas dress this morning to chruch. Once she put it one it was "take my picture" So had a ball and Cooper would do what Emma did. So today the whole family matched didn't plan it. She is growing up so fast every day she looks older and older i am not ready.

So we have a new photographer in the family, Emma got the camera and went to town, some well not the best but others pretty good. Lets just say this is a couple of them there are about 30 more :) It was fun even Cooper was getting into it, as you can see in one of them she put some flowers and his firetruck she knows what she is doing.

Here are the little two Mason kids for Halloween. I think i am done with buying costumes. I had bought both of them Horse costumes, that they picked out i tried getting Coop to put it on NO WAY was that happening and well Emma decided to be a cat. I took the costumes back and got Cooper PJ's, they were as happy as can be, see what happens wheni try thinking a head for once. The night went great they got lots of candy and turned out fun.

Last weekend you took the kids up to Hardware Ranch to see the Elk. Elk did not come down the mountain yet so we went for a wagon ride, painted pumkins and looked at bugs. It was very sunny but really cold so we look real pretty in our hats and coats. The kids loved it Cooper was a little sad he didn't get to see the Elk.

Aunt Marge

My Aunt Marge passed away from a long time of being sick. She is now pain free she was a wonderful lady always took care of everyone. We will miss her dearly. I did have the pleasure to shake Presidents Monson hand and spend half the afternoon around him. He came to my aunts funeral, he was her Mission President. He gave Cooper five and talked to joked with him, we did a great job at speaking at the service. It was a wonderful service. We love you Aunt Marge.

My sister-in-law debra came up with the kids so it was fun swimming, park & ice cream. We got to learn about the Avalanche Dogs so that was fun. It was fun relaxing and wonderful weather.

So we were able to get a condo up at snowbird for the week. Zac's grandparents do it every year, so this year we got a place, it was great. I was up there most of the week, zac had to work a few days. We went to the park Emma's favorite was the monkey bars. There were Moose signs all over telling you not to approach them. We did the apline slide and rode on the tram.

State Fair

So we took the kids to the State Fair. Jessies first time and it was a shocker! We got her on the rides and lets say they made me sick, she did good. Emma got her face painted and saw some sharks it was interesting but fun. I always go for the food its the best!

Our neighbors took us four wheeling labor day and it was fun. Zac got to drive his own and he loved it. The kids thought it was fun and just as we were going down the mountain Jessie pointed out a deer and Cooper was excited it made his night.

My little girl turned 6. She had her birthday up at the park and for 6 months or more she saw this Cake that looked like a guitar, she me think i can make it well it got close and i backed down and a good friend made it for me Thank you again Jane. She had so much fun playing with friends and cousins. She is a wonderful daughter a big helper and my life would not be the same if she wasn't in it. I am very lucky to have her, the time is going to fast and i am trying to enjoy every minute i can with my little "BUGS". Thank you for all who helped and came to her party.

So i took my Laurels to the firestation. Who knew that 16 year olds would have this much fun. My cousin Tyler works at the SLC fire station so we went down there they got to go for a ride try on their bunkers and shot the water, they even got little plastic hats which they never took off. I have to admit it was fun but i got to sit in the front and be the boss and do the horn and sirens. Thanks again Burningham.

So out friends little niece just passed away of cancer, she was two years old. It makes you just think how lucky you are to be here with your family and kids. Little Madalyn is now pain free and is one of Heavenly Father's angel. Just cherish the time you have with loved ones.

Just to recap last year or so i took Cooper to cookie cuters because Emma did want her hair cut; anyways she threw a HUGE fit because she couldn't have the headband and the brush so we ended up buying the headband because she streched it out to bad. So i took them the other day and they both did great. So my nightmare did not come true this time, and they look so cute may i add.

Heidi Shupe's Birthday was Tuesday so she invited us to go boating with the family which is Jessie and Amy mom who watchs the kids alot. We went up to pineview for the day, Emma and Cooper went in the tube behind the boat and did great. Zac well is still having a hard time walking he got a little crazy on the tube, but it was fun and the kids loved it, it is geat to have good friends to spend time with. If you asked Emma how boating was she would say "My daddy got pulled over and he had his seatbelt on which he nver wears" For the record it was for a head light out and that was it not ticket (zac get a ticket ha).

Girls Camp Wow. Or should i say easy breezy lay around vacation. So our sweet camp leader let us have her cabin on Bear Lake for camp. We had flushing toliets, showers and almost every leader had their own room. We went boating laid out and did not much of anyting. We did go to Minatoka Cave that was awesome. We had our Cabana Boys (priesthood leaders) and had a blast.

So we flew down to California for my Brothers Wedding. And after the wedding we got to go to the Beach and let the kids play, we were lucky enough to bring our nanny (Amy) to help with the kids. So she took Emma down and of couse the first reaction was i don't like the sand, same with Coop. After a bit they loved it until a huge wave came and got us all wet, well lets just say Emma was not happy. But overall it was great and the wedding turned our good. It was a short little trip but a nice break. Thanks again Amy for all you did!

I got to go away for the weekend just girls no kids. My sweet hubby had the kids and sent me off to the outlets and more. It was some friends and their girls (grown up). We went to a ranch house down by fairview. It was fun and we had a blast. Ate some good BBQ in orem and ate junk food like crazy. It's good to have girlfiends.

So i had surgery on Dec 26th. I have really bad sinus and so the doctor went in and made them bigger, really he drilled a few holes in my head to make it easy for air to move around. So it was kinda of a weird day after Christmas. So my sweet sister-in-law Debra took the kids while i was in surgery she brought the kids to my house had them decorate the door and left a 12 pack of COKE on the porch. She knew i was going to want one when i got home. Grandma and Grandpas helped out with the kids they were great. My wonderful husband was great, he took care of me and did a good job. Things are better now just getting over the headaches from the surgery.

It was fun, My brother came in to town with his finance Rochelle and we got together and had fun with the kids. Santa even came to mom and dad and brought them a Wii. I have to say it is very fun, even Emma likes it and may i add beats dad to bowling.

Thank you to all those who helped with our Sub for Santa Project. The Masons & Stocks put their hearts first and helped out Women and Children have a good Christmas. We also had the Stock family party it was fun and the kids loved it.
The YW leaders took the girls to the Temple to look at the lights, As you can see there is a Wheelchair in the picture. Our President was sick and wouldn't of been able to walk that much so we got a wheelchair and off we went and the lights were beautiful.

Yes that would be our basement. Zac, George and our neigbor Grant are helping to tear down the wall so we can frame it back up. I should say so Zac can frame it back up. I think they needed to let some steam off. But they finished it it looks great.

So High School Musical 3 I have to say i enjoyed it. All the girls went opening night. Then again this week. Cute little Emma the second time seeing it she new every song and was singing her little heart out. It was a great show and we can't wait till it comes out on DVD.

Battling Cancer

A tribute to all of my family members who have battled cancer and lost. Most recently is my Aunt Kaye who lost her battle on Nov 6, 2007. Last year for the first time i went with my other Aunt Jo and participated in the Race for the Cure. I am going to try and do it every year and one day hope little Emma wants to join us. Please remember all those you know or don't know that battle with all types of cancer.

Emma's Surgery

Just an update on Emma's Surgery it went good. Dr. Dowding said he got it all out and looked good. I have pictures coming but we are doing good we took the bandages off today and had a real bath. So thank you to all that gave Emma little treats, balloons and things it was wonderful for you to think of her.

Just passing the 7th annivarsary of 9/11 it reminds me that i live in a pretty good country and just hurts to think of all those families that lost a love one. I am greatful for all the soliders out there in the line of fire so that i can live in a free country. Thanks to all the military men and women for what you are doing. Even my Brothers that are serving their country.

Yup we went to the State fair. Thanks to uncle Tyler we got free tickets and a good parking spot. Emma and Jordyn got to ride the pony east cotton and candy rides more cotton candy. They had fun even Tyler fit in the rides with 2 little girls. Some of those rides they don't make for adults.

So yes once again Emma did Mini Cheerleading. She gets all escited but then when it gets down to it well she will just watch everyone else. The first picture is her warming up that she did good at. Then her new little friend Kirsten from down the street. and her doing one of the dance moves. It was a fun thing for her to do and one of my Laurels is a cheerleader so we supported her and her team. She loves to dance and do flips, but only when no one is looking.

So to start off i read on my friends blog about how her little girls had a tantrum in the store, and i thought i have been there, oh but not until this day WOW!. Okay so as you can see i went and took Coop to go get his hair cut at a little place called Cookies Cutters. Emma didn't want her hair cut so she played and sat in the Police car she was being an excellent little girl. I put Coop in the airplane and turned on a movie and sat there as good as he ever has been. So i am at the desk paying and Emma has a Hannah Montana brush and a sparkly purple head band. She wanted both and i said to her "You can have one which one do you want" She relplys BOTH", so you can see where this went i told her no and if she acts this way she gets nothing. out of the blue she throws a HUGE HUGE tantrum, to the point she is kicking and screaming and telling me things you don't want to hear from you little girl. She held on so tight i had to pry her hands from the brush, but the head band well she held on so tight that by the time i got it out of her hands it was not what it looked like in the first place so ya i had to buy it. so we now have a sparkly head band hanging up in our house and she asks do i get that yet and i say no, she replys because i was bad. So to all the moms our there enjoys these moments at least thats what people tell us right. By the way anyone want a purple head band. Ha Ha

Yes that is a black belly button it is actually Emma's. Some of you have heard we are having a time with this. A few weeks ago Emma told me her belly button hurt and when she should it to me it was red with fluid coming out, i know kinda gross. So we went to the doctor she got put on anitbiotics, and then up to Primarys for an ultrasound, nothing then it healed up. Then last week it came back so we went up to the Dr. and saw a different then are normal one and she said "oh i see this all the time in brand new babies ( i am thinking to my self but in a five year old?) so she numbed her up and put silver nitrate on it (cartarized it) so not 4 hours later she showed it to me cause it was hurting and now blood was coming out and her stomach was swollen. So we then went to a surgeon at Primarys and well she is now scheduled to have surgery on the 24th of Sept. So we will see how it goes and hopefully this will take care of it. She is okay now we just have to keep the infection out before surgery.

Emma's first day of Kindergarten, I can't beleive she is that big to go. So far she is having a fun time talks about her friends she met and her teacher. She isn't my baby anymore she is a big girl and i get reminded of that all the time. At least i still have Coop.

Yes this would be us at dinner with some friends Jas, Camille, Macy & Kate. The girls were having to much fun with the straws and the adults well we could of gone crazy with our kids but what do you do, you just love them. We need to get together again Emma keeps asking to play with Macy again.

My little girl turned five and what a good spirit she was it was just the day before that she had all the stuff happen on her belly button, but she isn't going to miss out on her Birthday.

Kanagroo Zoo

So as you can see Emma had a blast on her Birthday. We went to a place called Kangaroo Zoo a place that is just full of those inflatable clides and jumping things and black light mini golf. As you can see it wasn't just the kids that had fun all the adults i think went on at least one, and of course Zac and my dad well had a hard time getting out of them so they just rolled out. You could tell of what adult went down the slides all of the elbows or heads had burns on them it was great. It was 2 hours of 16 kids yelling and screaming it was fun. We then went into the BUG room with blue charis that Emma picked out and had pizza and cake and did presents, with bubbles coming down from the cealing the kids loved it and the last surprise was Coco the Kangaroo came to say Happy Birthday to Emma (not to fond of him she wouldn't go near him). Thank you to all that came it was great.

Youth Conference

That would be one of the leaders in the hat isn't she just cute. All the girls laying out playing guitar. Zac got to come along because the YW leaders had to have somewhere to sleep, and it wasn't going to be on the ground so what a great guy to pull up our trailor so we had a potty and comfort. The kids did baptisms for the dead at the Manti Temple and then a service project at the cemetery and then up the mountain we went. It was fun and the kids did great.
